In this old black & white movie a jewish tinker is unfairly,arrested and imprisoned treated horribly and the government felt if they had someone for the masses to blame, hate, and pin all the problems of society on, it would serve to unite and benefit society. I want to say it was called HUNGER, possibly it was subtitled, possibly it was Polish ? Russian ? PLEASE HELP ME ? THIS WAS A PROVOCATIVE, DISTURBING, INCITEFUL FILM I LONG TO SEE AGAIN.
