70s (maybe 60s) cartoon movie
Okay, this is all I can remember. I saw a disturbing/facinating (to me @ the time) cartoon movie sometime in 70s. All I can remember is, kids going missing, taken to another realm (Hell? Hellish?)There's a machine that changes the children into demons and there's a bunch of demons(formerly children) around it/them shouting "Into the machine! Into the machine!"
There's another scene where their friends are lost in this realm, looking for them and they're in a forest of giant mushrooms. Suddenly the mushrooms caps tilt up and they have faces, and are holding tridents, and they say "Barrr-beee-kewww... (BBQ)In reference to the children. And flight ensues.
That's all I got. If anyone knows what this is, that would be so awesome. It's been in the back of my brain since I was a kid and haven't been able to find any references to it. THANKS!:-)
