Could I be pregnant or is something else wrong with me?
Hello My question is could I be pregnant? I had unprotected/pull out(atleast I hope he did on time) sex with my boyfriend multiple times 6 and 4 days before my period, which my period started 2 days early. I did take a test which was negative the day before my peiod because I didn't feel right the whole week before and we had a lot of sex the last 2 weeks prior to my period. The first 2 days of my period were light and brown the 3rd day really heavy all day and the 4th day very brown and light and I usually have a 5-6 day normal period and this one wasn't normal! I took a pregnancy test during also because I've never had these kinds of symptoms with my period! I ended my period sat morn and now I have very light cramps that start on one side of lower abdomin and stops and goes to the other side stops and then it goes to my lower back! Ive also been getting headaches on and off, dizzy and light headedness when I stand, irritable, nausea and all these symoptoms come and go! Is there any way I could be prenant from having a somewhat full period but not my normal kind. And also most these symptoms I had before period during and still its going on! My last unprotected sex was 10 days ago I started my period 4 days after my last unprotected sex! Could I be pregnant and If I could be pregnant when would be the best time for a pregnancy test to pick it up? Or could there be something else wrong with me?

    Thanks

If you are not pregnant now, count yourself very lucky. Having "multiple... unprotected sex" is a great way to become pregnant. Are you trying? If not, you need to rethink your sex practices very quickly.

The pull out or withdrawal method is NOT a safe method of contraception. As soon as a mans penis is erect he produces pre-ejaculate which contains millions of sperm. So a man does not have to ejaculate inside of you for you to be at risk of becoming pregnant. If there is anyway of sperm getting into your vagina then you put yourself at risk of pregnancy.

Also there is not safe time in your cycle to have unprotected sex and not risk becoming pregnant - even on your period. You may be less likely but it is still possible.

If you want to avoid pregnancy then you need to use protection, whether that's condoms or hormonal contraception.

In regards to your symptoms, you should, visit your doctor for advice. No one on these forums is qualified to diagnose your symptoms.

You can do a pregnancy test after the first day of a missed period, or 21 days after unprotected intercourse. Follow the instructions on the test and use the first urine of the day. If you think you may be pregnant still after a negative result, perform another test 7 days later.

See your Doctor if you are still concerned
