Three-parents IVF - fiction or reality
Dear doctor, we've been trying to conceive for 18 years. Idiopathic sterility primaria. (I'm 48 now; I did not have period for couple of months and at the moment I am on duphaston 3-months therapy). My eggs were useless - poor quality and few. Early menopause. We tried AIH and IVF (poor responder to stimulation), but always with negative beta. Egg donation recommended. QUESTION: Where in the world is it possible (if it is possible at all) to do "three-parents IVF"? Could we use donor's egg, but my DNA? And insert my DNA into an emptied nucleus of another woman's egg? Then that egg could be fertilized with my husband's sperm. Thank you for helping us.
