    Whirlpool Cabrio "UL" code
My cabrio washing machine will code out "UL", uneven load, 9 out of 10 times once it gets to the spin cycle. I can have a light load, medium, heavy, doesn't matter. It will even do it with nothing in the washer. I have taken the machine apart from top to bottom and found no obstructions.
Is there a sensor somewhere out of whack?
I noticed the motor/stator had tons of shavings which I cleaned up but is the motor/stator worn out?
This is causing way too much stress, especially for a 2 year old machine(heavy use though).
    Help please.

First off is the machine level? Also did you inspect the edge of the drum to see if any tilt switchs may be sticking?

Hi, the machine not level but is stable on my somewhat uneven floor(doesn't rock or move).
I did not notice any sensors or switches on the drum when I took it out. Perhaps there is one one the lid that I did not notice.

The first thing you need to do is level the machine. If its not level its going to cause that problem. Then see how it does after it is completely level.

UPDATE: washer is now level, still codes uL at beginning of the spin cycle. Full, half, small or no load of clothes in tub. Any other hints or advice on where the problem may lie?
