Where is the reset button on a Rheem hot water tank model number 71-305?

You piggybacked on as old thread so I gave you one of your own'
Turn the power off at the breaker box. Remove the two screws on the top inspection , remove the cover and pull the insulation aside. You will find the reset button in the upper thermostat.
Now, what caused it to open up? This could be caused by overheating, shorted element or a faulty thermostat. If it kicks off again I would have it checked out.

This is what Reset Button looks like... Be careful not to touch anything else but the button. Follow the Reset Instructions on the label located on front of your heater. Milo
