Ok, I need some help. I met a girl 8/9 years ago, as a friend, and we were both in relationships. I knew her man, and she new my girl at the time, and spent some good time together. Then they moved into a house, and we lost contact with each other.

Little while ago, we met up at a party, and hit it off, and started dating. I was with her for about 6 months. Every thing was going fine. Until 1 day she started being cold, so a few arguments started, and we split up 2 days later. She nonstop called, and text, saying she wanted me back, so I gave it a second go, which didn't go to great. She just didn't want to talk about things, so we ended it.

I mean, she was really hanging off me, and telling me sweet nothings. All the time she showed me signs that she really loved me in words, and in her actions, but when we split, the games really started to happen.

WHAT I'm asking, is what is the need for the games? Ok, when I was with her, and I went out, we would text each other as you normally would, but then I would get text from her that wasn't meant for me, as if she was talking to her mate about me in good ways. Now I know she sent them to me on purpose, to get my attention, but why ?

Now we've been split up for about 2 months. She wanted to stay friends, but I didn't. Well not yet anyway, and we went into the no contact zone. I got a few texts from her, and I didn't reply to some of them, and did to others. At the time, I did want to get back with her, but I can see now it just ant worth it.

Its hard just to forget about her, as she is in my circle of friends, and her girl mates are my mates too. Anyway, I've been going out, and meeting new girls, and she has too, but I keep getting texts from her, but they're not meant for me. AGAIN not just 1 or 2 here, and there, but 1 every 2 days or so. One of my girl mates said, 'I CAN ONLY IMAGINE SHE WANTS ME TO CHASE HER, AND BY SENDING ME FAKE MESSAGES, SHE KNOWS IT WILL MAKE ME THINK OF HER, AND CHASE HER, IF IM STILL INTERESTED, BUT DON'T JUST IGNORE HER'.

So I did ignore her, but the text still came. So I did text her, and said look, we been split up for a while now. Why are you still texting me fake texts, stop playing games, and delete my number please. I don't want you back or anything to do with you thanks.

Then she texts back, I don't want to be with you, or try again, sorry, didn't mean to text you. I will delete your number. I thought sweet, job done, but oh no, few days later, text from her AGAIN! Now they are not bad texts, or good texts. They're just text that mean nothing to me, and I thought, yeah, she could have sent them by mistake, but now she has meant to have deleted my number.

So now, I'm getting pretty pi@@ed off. I just ignore them, but why she feel the need to do this? Is she crazy or what ? Now I know her texting me is to get me to think about her, but she must be thinking about me in order to text me right ? IDK what she is playing at. Please leave your thoughts thanks Dan :-)

If her game is to keep you think of her, or simply messing with your head, doesn't matter. Block her, delete her, or send her texts to spam, but keep ignoring her.

I have seen people do this, just to keep you wondering. Looks like it's working too.

If you can't just ignore her, maybe change your number. It's your basic need for attention and any reaction at all feeds her need. Do nothing and eventually it should stop. Good luck, girls like this are tough.
