There was an incorrect SSN entry in W4 from last 4 months starting from starting from May 2011. Now its corrected with a new W4 form. Already 4 months payroll processed. How to fix the old payroll records so that during final tax return filing it will not be an issue.

Contact your payroll dept and ask them if the taxes already taken out will be properly credited at the time when your final earnings will be turned over to you for filing.
