What do you mean "a lamp"? Is there information under this lamp icon within the cell itself? Then if so, the icon may not be able to be removed as it is a default indicator of hidden information.
Thanks for your answer. When I click on the icon, it takes me to Adobe Flash Player Home Page. I do not understand because I am working in an Excel Spreadsheet.
Can you provide us with a screenshot?
Is it possible that instead of a lamp (like an Aladdin lamp) it's a cup with steam rising from it?
I tried to save the document as pdf in the desktop, but when I opened it, the lamp does not appear, but a legend saying: "Allow activex?" o something so. I allowed and the lamp appears in the document.
In the Excel Spreadsheet, when I do left click on the lamp, appears a window with these options:
Zoom in, zoom out, show all, quality, print, settings, global settings, and About Adobe Flash Player 10.3.183.5
Have you trie deleting the lamp icon the normal way? You may have to delete what is underneath the icon that imbedded itself into the spreadsheet. Are you the author of this original spreadsheet? If you are not, find out who is the original author and go ask them about the lamp as they may have a very good reason for including such an Adobe Flash in the speadsheet.
Thank you. I tried to delete what is underneath, but the lamp is still there.
Can you get a screenshot?
This is the screehshot. Thanks. See two at the right and other two in the sixth and eight column.
The icons are too small to make out but at least I can where there are on your sheet. Does the icon appear with every new sheet you start or only on this one?
Just in this one.Thanks,
How about copy/pasting your data from one sheet to a new one?
