Application to accelerate on deferred sentence
I recently violated my probation. The courts filed application to accelerate on my previous deferred sentence. I bonded out of jail after 2 1/2 months, but now I wondering does the app 2 acc mean that I'm going to be sent to prison? Also if you bond out of jail can the courts really make you have to hire a lawyer or can I still get a court appointed attorney?

    Hello beth:

I believe the application to accelerate DOES mean they want to send you to the joint.

Secondarily, you aren't entitled to a free lawyer for a probation violation whether you bonded out or not. You're only entitled to a free lawyer BEFORE you've been convicted.
