Why does technology seem to go backwards?
A year ago, I could see my name on the Member list, Now its gone.
I recently told my Grandaughter(7 years old) I Hate Modern Technology, she said "what, you don't like computers, and list of other things", She doesn't realize I lived in a time when you changed a channel, it was INSTANT, now you have to wait. Everything has to think for a moment.
When I turn on a switch, it is on and Immediate, No thinking about what I want done, the light is on.
My Security Systems are as Fast, Immediate, NO DELAY.
Why the big thought process.
Some alarm companies are now offering what I have been offering for about 15 to 20 years, the ability to control remotely, Now they boast they can shut of the lights to your stairs remotely, Great, umless you are at home going down stairs, when someone remotely turns them off, Oh they now claim they can turn off your car while YOU are driving. Some things MUST NOT BE REMOTELY CONTROLLED. Nice selling point for a company that can offer no more.
Any Big Wining Alarm Companies want to respond?

I just hit "browse" "Members". Your name is on it! Added in 2007, 2000+ posts! Where did you look?

See If your names are on the list, maybe now for some reason we can't see our own?
I looked in Member List around members with about 8800 post?

The ordering of members has changed from posts to Rep a while back..

Curlyben, That's Exactly what happened.
I was looking at the number of posts, not reputation.
I was just curious, its probably better that way.
