If I remove 3 light bulbs on 6 bulb light bar, will my energy be reduced?
How about ceiling fans, 4 lights and I would be just fine with lights?

Sure, it will be 50%. Ditto for fan, any light bulb reduction, filament or CFL will result in power reduction. However, if you only use the light for short periods, you will save limited $$. If you have 6X60 watt bulbs=360 watts it costs 7-10 cents per hour if left on for 1 hour, depending on your KW cost. So, if the light is on for 1 hour per day, removing 3 bulbs will save 4-5 cents per hour.

If you mean energy consumption the answer is yes. ma0641 bring up a good point. A CFL or LED bulb will use way less power and you can have all 6 bulbs still working
