Means absolutely NOTHING.
Genetic information come from both parents.
You'll notice that not all children look exactly liked their parents.
It means their features are not the same as yours, I have 5 sons, you line them up and pick the one that looks most like me, guess what, it would be the one I adopted. Looks can come from both sides of the family, from several generations ago even.
Your chromosomes split and rejoin equally; genes on them do not. It is totally absurd to be concerned about any of this. If you fear you are going to act less like a loving parent over this, get DNA from all of you and send it in for not too much cost. There are several DNA test online sites.
