Hi, I also have same picture by same artist called THE THATCHED COTTAGE not been able to find out a lot about it, Cristies sold one called EVENING GOLD in 2004 for about £80? Does not seem a lot for a oil painting.

L E Forse... or uncle Eric as we knew him was my great uncle (my Nan's sisters husband). Eric was a very talented and fun man who lived in Yovil Somerset with his Wife Aunty Joyce and 2 sons. Sadly my Aunty passed away last year.

I would love to know if you still have the copies and looking to sell.
