I having been looking for an old movie that dealt with pollution
The movie focused on air pollution that was so bad in an area, that there was an exodus of people leaving from one country to get to another that had fresh air. I thought the name of the movie began with "Green...". Anther thing that I remember is that the son of the family was living with an uncle and he was getting lights on the black market- (told one of my friends that if I am unable to find this movie, it must have been a dream and now is a good time to make it),HELP!

If this is an old movie and you think you saw it as a young child, it might possibly be Soylent Green. It wasn't about pollution but there were too many people and not enough food and did have people moving around. There was a scene in which the "Uncle" figure was watching a movie about cleaner places to live set to a classical background. It was released in 1973 and starred Charleton Heston and Edward G. Robinson.

Even if this isn't the movie you were thinking of, you might want to watch it. There are a few slow and inane moments in it but for the most part a great movie. I can guarantee you that if you have never seen it, the explanation of what Soylent Green is during the movie is worth it!
