I change the thermal coupling and tried to ignite the pilot but it would not light . What may be the problem

Hi Paul...

If the water got into the combustion chamber then you may need to disassemble the pilot tubing and pull out the pilot orifice (see image) at the end of the pilot tubing, clean it and then reassemble and see if that resolved your issue. It should resolve your issue.
