The comment area is grayed out and will not allow me to comment. HELP!

Log off, clear your cache and log on again.

Facebook has some weirdness now and again..

Tried that - now if I press comment twice the comment box is active.

Face Book has been changing so much that they do not realize they are causing glitches. You may have to go into your privacy settings and change your wall and comment settings. You also may have to clear your cookies and try logging in again. I hope this was helpful.
