    I have a 1/4 mile long drive way and want to add some outlets for lights in my trees what size wire should I use do to voltage drop and can it even be done or should I run a mini breaker box off the meter I am just starting to build the house so this is a future project just trying to get prepared

    To design this feeder, need to know actual footage, and ideally, exactly how many outlets and the load in watts or amps at each outlet.

    1/4 mile of wire is $$$$, not counting fixtures, trenching etc. You'll need UF or conduit, weatherproof fittings and fixtures. The newer LCD solar are getting cheaper every day. I just bought some at walmart for $3 on sale. For larger capacity some have larger chargers for floodlights.
