Fitting broke and water blew everywhere.I replaced fitting, but wife said she heard gurgling.

What fitting broke? Was it on the pressure or the suction side? Will the pump hold its prime when you prime it from the impeller cage?
What gurgling? From where? A house drain? The pump bladder/pressure tank?
