"Cool Spot" Character in a TV Show
IT was a 1990's or even 80's show, where a character that is or looks like 7up's "Cool Spot" (a red dot with shades on).

I thought he was a part of some strange team. One of the other characters was some skinny black-American (probably of some kind of fame) basketball player. It think there was a bulky white character. He might be a wrestler. I can't remember much more. I can't remember what the whole theme that brought them together, it seemed like they might have been random video game characters, but I think that's wrong cause I've been looking through list of shows based on video games and found nothing. So maybe it something else, maybe they all came out of a TV.
