    Plumbing Products
I am getting ready to replumb my house. The house was built in 1952. It is a small house. 1 kitchen and 1 bath. I have had several plumbers out for estimates. My question is, what is the best product for replumbing? Also, what is better glue or crimping? What is the best electric hotwater heater that is engery efficient?

    1. Noveon, Inc. - FlowGuard Gold Pipe & Fittings.

    2. Zurn Pex

    3. Vanguard Poly.

    Thank you,

Sorry, but I wouldn't recommend any one of those products.

Vanguard and Zurn both rely on crimped fitting connections and the pipe has no memory characteristics.

Flowguard must be installed to exacting standards that few plumbers pay any heed to.

If you are looking for an inexpensive alternative to copper, then I highly recommend Wirsbo AquaPex.
