    Sanding edge on corian top
Hi. We have a set of Corian tops that cover the stove in our RV.
The stove or counter has tweaked just enough that the removable top
Pieces will not fit. Probably less than 1/16 needs to be removed
To allow clearance. Sand down w/orbital sander, belt sander..
    Grit of sandpaper?

    Thanks

You can sand corian but need to be very careful overheating the material. The best way is to wet sand/finish with a diamond blade or a laminate router. However, using a belt sander, 150-180 grit and LIGHTLY, carefully sanding the edge will work. Set up a straightedge guide. Do not use a lot of pressure. Use an orbital to finish the edge or maybe a dremel if the edge is short and if visible, get some wet paper and start sanding until smooth.
