Hello, I had a lump in my neck and a very sore, itchy rash over it on the outside.. Any ideas?

We don't diagnose on AMHD, but the lump on you neck, depending on which part of your neck, could be a swollen lymph node. There are two located on the side of your neck, one directly behind the ear and the other beneath it. Lymph nodes, when swollen and painful are early warning signs of infection in the body. It could be something as simple as a cold.

Don't know what the itchy rash is, unless you have been touching and rubbing it and irritated the skin.
