Hi, ummm... I'll just say that I'm really dark. I was told that black soap can brighten my overall skin tone, but I'm not sure if that's true. Has anyone tried black soap? Does it work? And if so, can you recommend a good brand to use?

If you Google 'black soap' you will find many websites that it is only an exfoliaant containing minerals. Minerals being the new age in cosmetics and beauty products. If someone has told you it will brighten your skin, it will only exfoloiate removing dead skin cells and making it smoother.
