I have had 2 periods this month. The first one was normal, lasted 7 days. The second period came a week later, it was very heavy like a waterfall and bright red. I am not on any birth control, I called my doctor, but he can't see me until next week.

Bright red blood that causes you to use more than one pad an hour should have you RUNNING, not walking, to the doctor.

If he can't see you right away, then you need to go to the emergency room.
