I received an e-mail that is unlawful
I would like to report an e-mail I received which has child porn in the subject for downloading plus snuff films. Please check out this serious matter.

    Thank you

You need to contact your internet service provider as we have no way to see your emails. Please do not put your email address on a post since you have opened it to millions of people and left yourself open to a lot more material of this nature. This is not an https site.

How do you know about the contents of this e-mail if you didn't open it?

If the title was objectionable, then simply block the sender and move on with your life.
You need to contact your OWN ISP if you want to take this further.

The appropriate step, as presented by the experts, is to notify your ISP or local FBI office. You can use the link below, if you have a website address which the email came from, (not an email provider), otherwise, email is not reported to an agency outright because the email information is usually spoofed. You need to go to your ISP because they can track the sender more accurately.

If you receive such material in the U.S. Mail, you need to go to your post office and give the material to the supervisory postal agent.
