Can you have interest on taxes abated in New Jersey?

You can always petition for it... but the fact its owed and overdue they really have little reason to do it.

Like the IRS. MOST states will NOT waive interest because it is required by law.

However, as Smoothy pointed out, you can always ASK. All they can do is say NO!
