I had my monthly period last July 28,29,30. After that day till August 21, I have had a brown spot. I had a red spot August 22. I'm taking pills, but in July I stopped taking them, and my last intercourse was July 26.

I restarted pills on the first day of my monthly period, July 28. I am a smoker.

My questions are:

*what could be the cause of ghd brown spot?
*Could it already be my monthly period; August 22?
