My daughter is almost 4 months pregnant. Her one doctor has her on a Fentanyl patch (75mcg/h) says it is fine. Her OB said she can smoke her pack a day as qutiing is more harmful. They also said she can drink coffee, dye her hair and take aspirin or excedrin. I did nothing. Is not all this harmful?

My daughter is almost 4 months pregnant. Her one doctor has her on Fentanyl patch, 75mcg/h, for pain. Her OB said it is OK to smoke a pack a day as quitting is more harmful to baby. They also said she can drink coffee, take excedrin, dye her hair and no need to take vitamins. All seems harmful to me. Can you help?
