I have a rechargeable razor that presently has NiCad batteries in it. They are leaking and I wanted to replace them. I have some Ni-MH batteries and thought about using them. Will they work? Thought I would ask before I soldered them in.

The batteries have different characteristics and different purposes too. However, for a low power application like a razor, they should be fine. Make sure that your charger is compatible. Some say Ni Cad only some are NiCad and Mh
Don't know if the charger is compatible. It's a rechargeable razor.
It's worth a try since the other batteries are going bad. Worse thing would be they won't charge but I bet they do.
OP stated "They are leaking".
How about Lithium Ion?
I tried 3 convenient stores and all I could find were ni-mh so I bought them and soldered them in and all seems to work fine. Charger light is working as well. Thanks for help all!
Good deal.
I have used Harbor Freight NI-Mh batteries where Ni-Cd were used and they work the same. I think the voltage is a tad lower but for most uses works the same. Hope it works well.
