By the sounds of it he's been a total w a n k for a long time. Maybe he's never been confronted with the jolly true. If I was you I'd go straight over your direct boss's head, and go to his boss with the matter. If nothing happens, call the UNION! Or just smash his face in, violence solves everything ;D. ::)

Hi You,the lazy old man and your boss need to have a meeting to discuss this matter. There needs to be a understanding that if he no longer can perform the job then he need to go!! It just as plain and simple as that. It might be a good idea to have a party outside the company to join u guys to help put a end to the madness good luck take care
