If I own a home in two cities in Ohio, one in the city I live in but live in a third that I do not own with my children. Are my children allowed to go to the school where I live. And am I allowed to stay at either of the homes on occasion possibly weekends. And where do I file my taxes? I have mail going to all places. I bought first house as residence then bought home in 2nd city to run business and live in. currently under renovations. Moved to 3rd house until renovations are finished. Also preparing 1st house for rent or sale.

Of course. Public education is available for all children, at a school in a district in which they live.

You own it, you can stay in it, assuming living in the home is allowed by local building and zoning codes.

Income taxes? File federal income taxes with the IRS, wherever it's nearest office is. State income taxes? Ohio, I guess.

Frankly, I don't understand what you are asking. All of these questions seem to have trivial answers, so if you mean to ask something else, please expound.

You need to check with the school authorities to see which home is your school qualifer. Some school districts in Ohio offer the open school enrollment meaning that you can live anywhere and still enroll your kids in whatever school you please but you are not guaranteed bus service from the school in some instances if you are too far from the physical school and no other students live near your home.

It appears what is happening, and the poster is betting around the bush,

They really live in one city, but own houses in other cities, and want to have the kids go to school there.

In which city do the children reside the majority of the year. That is where they are to go to school, unless you make arrangements and pay perhaps out of district fees ( if available)
