    Craftsman LT 1000 won't turn over
    I try to start the lawnmower. It makes the noise to start but won't turnover. Anyone have any idea

    " noise to start but won,t turnover" Please clarify. What is the exact noise? When the piston cycles on the crank, whether it starts or not, we call that turning over. Does you engine rotate/turn over but not start or just makes some little noise?

    Could be many things starting with a failed safety switch, there are 3. Could be a bad solenoid under the carb bowl. Do you know how to locate and test the 3 safety switches?
