    Window pane has moisture
We have an old 1890 Victorian home with all of the original windows. One of the windows has moisture on it and never seems to go away. It is much more evident after a big rain or snowfall. Is there a way to eliminate this problem or should we think about replacement windows? I am really hesitant to replace the windows because they are that old wavy glass that is so beautiful. Thanks for the help.

It is only condensation and quite normal. It has to do a lot with the conditions in the house as to how much condensation you get on the inside of the windows. No, I don't think they have to be replaced. Everyone has this on their windows at regular times of the year. If you have not got a dehumidifier going in your house, it would be a good idea to get one.

In which room is this one window located. Is the moisture on the inside only?
