    Plants that lift concrete sidewalk?
I have a manila palm tree and I wondering if the roots of this can lift a concrete sidewalk(city & county property)

Palm trees are not noted for having deep roots as they are basically sand dwellers. I would not think this palm tree could inflict such damage as say a ficus tree could to concrete. Ficus can uproot just about anything. I've seen palm trees planted right inside a sidewalk enclosure in South Florida and no damage ensued by the roots. They were Royal Palms and at least 25' high.
