What happens when you violate probation?
I just received a letter for probable cause for probation violation and the clerk is ordered to issue a warrant for my arrest, without bond, pending appearance before the court.I missed a meeting for a drug test and went called them and went in to take it the next day. I have 4 months left of a 2 year probation for a DUI. 2nd one in less than 5 years. I haven't paid my fines yet, which are due before the end of my probation. This is in a different county than I live in. Are they going to come after me, or send me a warrant?

You can count on them coming after you, jacee. You violated not only probation but a court order, and why for instance are you worried about it now?

You are already sunk? A DUI, come on, drinking and driving under the influence, don't get me started on how many people have died, been maimed by drunk drivers, jacee.

I hope they throw the book at you.

Sorry mods, I am a done deal with questions like this

I'd start looking for the blue lights! 2 DIU in 5 yrs, missed drug teat and still owe the fines. Hmm You may be ready for a county vacation. Yes, they will come for you.

    What will most likely happen.

They will come arrest you. You will spend 1 to 4 weeks in jail waiting on a hearing, At the hearing the judge will read the riot act to you and put you back on probation.

Now you do know they can give you up to the full two years if they wanted to, that is not likely
