I'm 39 weeks and 3 days and my due date is Friday the 19th of auguse... im barely feeling anything... just some cramps, sharp pain in my pelvic area,pain in my back and tighening of my stomach... I was just wondering if I'm going to be close to my due date? My ob told me my cervix has dropped.

We can't possibly guess. Trust your doctor on this. Some women pop them right out without so much as a blink and others go through all sorts of cramping and labor.

Take it from me, a L&D nurse, there is no way to tell if you will come on your due date or even close to your due date. Babies come when they are ready.

I think it could be any time! I have 3 children and on my last (6 yrs old), I was definitely ready to have her... so I read up on it and tried to naturally induce myself and it worked! My husband and I had intercourse in the morning, and I laid in bed for about 20 minutes without moving afterword. The night before, I went to bed and pictured myself going through birth. (Both of which I read are helpful for getting your body ready). It took a few hours, but by 5:30 or so that evening, my water broke and the rest is history! Good luck. Try to be patient! And Congrats!
