How long should this break be?
So me and my boyfriend have been dating for a year. We always have such a great time together. I love him so much. I know he love me to. But lately thing just feel so distant between us. We argue a lot lately. And I feel like he doesn't want to be with me anymore. So I ask him. He say no!! Of course he still want to be with me and he love me so much. But it still doesn't feels right. And am really sad. I feel like he doesn't mean it. So he told me let's take a break. So you/us can figure thing out. Make sure of everything. And get rid of all these doubt!! So I agree and we both did. Then he hugs me and we both start crying. Like a lot!! Then after a little talk about the break and stuff. I left! I feel really horrible right!! And I'm not sure how long this break should be. We told each other we will contact each other when we know that answer.

You should have set a definite deadline, not some ephemeral fantasy time ("when we know that answer").

Now what could a couple argue about that leads to a break? I know, the fears, and insecurities of one of the partners?? Right!!

Maybe take this time to find out why it doesn't feel right, and what is this distance you feel.

Maybe then you can talk calmly, and not argue. Then there would be no need for a break, would there?
