    Can I break my lease?
I want to take a job in another state but have 9 months left on my lease. I currently live in Calif. Is there something I can do to get out of my lease.

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

Unless there is a provision in your lease for early termination, then you have three options:

    1) Negotiate a buyout. Offer two months rent to buyout the lease. If the landlord agrees get it in writing.
    2) Sublet if the lease and/or landlord permits
    3) Find a replacement tenant. Again if the landlord agrees you do the work to fond a replacement.
