Asalam Alaikum


I have a question and would be grateful if you answer my question. I love somebody and he loves me too. In one of our telephone conversations he said that he accepts me in nikah as his wife, and I also said that I accept him as my husband in nikah.

Has the marriage taken place?

Unless you both stood before the Imam, and preformed the Nikah ceremony, then to the best of my knowledge, no, you are not yet married.
