Hi I just put a new fat boy carb on my 1968 sporster and now it spits oil from the bottom of the bike every time I try to start it plese help

Sounds like a check valve that's sticking and is unrelated to the carb change.

I've had that happen usually after it sat all winter a couple times... the check valve is on the oil pump.

How do I check it

I have to dig out my service manual. Mine always corrected itself pretty quick usually after the second or third restart. And as long as it didn't sit too many months it didn't do it again.
