My question is about violating my restitution probation parole..
I was on a restitution probation for 3 years and was ask to pay 5,600 I only paid 1,500 of it so I violated my probation for not paying the restitution in full and on time.. my question is will I still be penalized if I pay the full amount of the rest of the restitution before going to court ? M suppose to go to court on the 9/29/2011.. N what are my other options so I won't be put to jail ?

    Thank you

    Hello k:

I've never heard of anybody being put on probation simply to pay restitution... But, if they're violating you cause you DIDN'T pay, and you're GOING to pay before your hearing, I can't imagine they'll do anything to you, except let you OFF probation...

I will agree with Excon, seldom have I seen ( but have seen it) to be on probation only to pay. But yes, if it is paid by the hearing, then it should be no issue at the hearing.
