    Vacating mutual no contact order
I am the respondent in a OOP... The petitioner had no evidence because it was bogus but my lawyer opted for a mutual no contact order in which I wanted to fight the OOP. Basically I had a lazy greedy lawyer and I spent three months in court and I was tired and the mutual no contact meant that he had the same against him. The OOP was terminated

Basically I want the whole thing dropped... I don't want anything on my name especially since I don't deserve it. I know I need to go back to court to do this but I want to do it pro se I do not want to risk getting another lazy lawyer. So I want to go the pro se and go the route of seeing if the petitioner wants to drop and stating to the court that I no longer see him as a threat and vice versa..

My real question is: by the fact that I am the respondent will I have a chance of having the mutual no contact order vacated? Or is it all up to the petitioner?

It's up to the petitioner and the judge - not you.
