Trouble shooting in 29" flat (tau) PANASONIC TV
    I have Panasonic 29"full Flat /tau/ 5 years old.

Recently there is interminent switching off/ on after the TV starts working for 20 to 30 Mints. Sound is OK during picture switch off time,Some times the switch off time losts long for 1 to 2 seconds / sometimes one to two minitues. After frequent act the TV becomes sweitched of permanently for 1/2 an hour to 45 mints and then gets automatically switched on?
Same problem repeats after some time as above!

Can anybody come across such complaint as above ? / and found solution in this regard ?

    Kindly Explain Pl!

The solution would require that you open the TV up and replace parts.

I need a model number to give you a better idea of what to do. I'm not familiar with any "tau" Panasonic TVs.

Chances are that you will probably be better off purchasing a new TV (since it is already 5 years old).

Sounds like a thermal intermittent, sometimes you can open the TV to expose the components and spray a coolant/freeze to bring down the temperature. Problem is, you may have several modules/boards to deal with. Just takes time.
    Does sound heat related.
