    WELL Pressure maximum
How much water pressure can be generated from a 1 and 1/2 hp pump at 550 feet?

For openers lose the caps. We don't like to be yelled at here in The Plumbing Page.

More details please. What is your well supplying? How much pressure do you desire? At 550 feet a 1/2 horse is pretty light
For the job. Click on back with more details. Cheers, Tom

If you know the manufacturer and model #, then they could tell you that. I would think you could get all the water you want if your pump is a horse and a half, though it's a little confusing as to the size of your pump.

No confusion here jlisenbe. As stated in his post he has a 1/2 horse pump. Cheers, Tom

    "A 1 AND 1/2 hp PUMP"

That's what I was referring to. Is it a horse and a half, or just a half horse?

Either I misread the first post or the OP went back and corrected the horse power. Either way I read a horse and a half now, Regards, Tom
