Am I wrong for going out on dates with guys when I am in a relationship?
Me and my boyfriend have been together for two years. He does nothing for me, as you can see in my previous question. We love each other. I like to go to the movies, and I can't remember the last time me, and him has went out on a date. He'll say stuff like "you have a job how about you provide for me". Will I be wrong if I go out on dates with other guys. I don't think I will be wrong because he isn't making any sacrifices to do better, plus I'm 19 years old. Please let me know what you all think.

I think if you're considering going out with other people... perhaps you should break up with him first.

You are right... well I did tell him that I would go out on dates because enough is enough and he didn't say anything, he said he understands and he is going to change(he always says tht)... He doesn't want me to leave him but since I'm 19, I don't want to be living my life bored missing out on fun... I just wish I could go to him for everything just like he can come to me for everything

Love is not making promises you can't keep, or allowing others to make promises they can't keep. If you are not happy with this love of yours then end it, and not just allow yourself excuses for cheating.

Handle the unfinished business in your relationship... resolve it one way, or another, before you pursue what you want to do. You shouldn't have to threaten someone with dating others for them to want to change, or want to please you. You just have to make a decision and follow through with getting out of this unhealthy love you find yourself unhappy with.

You are only 19, and have more chances at a healthy happy relationship, if you get your definitions of love, dating, and having fun straight. Cheating ain't it though.
