How do I wire a switch to a closet light. Then a run the wire to a dimmer switch for a recessed light.the junction box is in the attic and is about 5ft. From the closet. The closet is next to the space I need to put the recessed light (small home office space)do I run wire from the junction box to the switch in the closet then to the closet light.then run the second wire from the switch in the closet to the dimmer switch and finally to the recessed light? Run a cable from the junction box to the closet fixture. Run a cable from the closet fixture to the office fixture. Run a cable from the closet fixture to the switch. Run a cable from the office fixture to the switch.

At the closet fixture connect the black from the junction box, the black going to the office fixture, the white going to the switch. Connect the white from the junction box, the white going to the office fixture and add a pig tail. At the office fixture connect the black from the closet fixture to the white to the switch. Connect light fixtures to black and white. Connect black and white wires to switches.
