First look through the papers that came with the car to make sure you don't have it. The original car came with a "radio code" card that the previous owner should have passed on to you (along with the owner's manual). If you don't have the card you will have to call your local BMW service department and have them look the code up for you. They may ask you to bring the radio in (as a security caution, to ensure you are the proper owner).

You won't get that code from any of us but a BMW dealer may be able to help you. That is an anti-theft lock so the punch in code is kept tightly guarded by the radio maker. Just read ebaines reply as we were typing at the same time. They will want more than the radio to come to the shop, they'll want to see it still in the original car.
