    Why does cold water only dribble into the tub of a GE washing machine, model # wwre52
    40d1ww through the water vavle? Water is coming strong through the hose connected to the valve. Hot water enter the tub as it should.

    Most input valves have 2 solenoids, one for hot and one for cold. Cold water solenoid could be bad but I would look in the hose connection to see if there is a screen that got plugged or to see if something else is in there. I have found deteriorated hose pieces blocking the valves.
