I am suffering from irregular periods. I always used to get around every second month, then I started a herbal supplement which helped to regulate it. I then started the birth control pill, I stopped in feb, I got my period in march and April and I haven't got it for the past 3months.

What could be the causes and how could I treat it?

I have always had irregular periods since after my first one. I later found out it was due to ovarian cysts. Birth control was the only way to correct it but it was trial and error to find the one that worked best for me. I'm now on Cyclen and I'm on a regular cycle. I went on vacay and forgot my pills for one month. Wasn't sexually active so I didn't stress. I got my period twice that month and when I started back on birth control I missed a month. Stopping birth control will throw off your cycle in different ways for different people.
